After-School Program: P.E.A.C.E.

A colorful and vibrant outdoor space with a large turquoise shade canopy, various potted plants, and a paved walkway adorned with painted tiles.

P.E.A.C.E. (Peralta's Enriching and Creative Environment)

The P.E.A.C.E. program provides care and enrichment opportunities from the end of the school day (regular or minimum day) to 6 p.m. on every school day with the exception of 3 professional development days (TBD). P.E.A.C.E. is administered by the nonprofit group East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC), and partially funded by the California After-School Education and Safety Program (2002′s Prop. 49). This allows EBAC to offer the program at reduced cost to those who meet income requirements. Full scholarships are available. See tables above for details.

Site Coordinator: Sherice Tyler at (510) 775-3853. Room 10 (510) 597-3145.

2026-27 Peralta After-School Supplemental Form

Important Enrollment Information

  • Completing an enrollment form does not mean you are enrolled into the program.
  • All families including returning and waitlisted families will need to complete a 2026-27 enrollment form.
  • A separate enrollment form will need to be completed for each child you wish to enroll.
  • There are limited afterschool spots due to space and staffing capacity.
  • If the demand is higher than our current capacity, we will try to hire more staff over the summer so that we can meet the sites demand. Please note: our TK/K classes in particular have limited spots as we are required to have a 10:1 student to staff ratio compared to our 20:1 ratio for all other grades.
  • Please see our priority enrollment process (same at all OUSD schools):
    1. OUSD's Unduplicated Pupil Percentage (UPP) mandate. UPP is defined by the California Department of Education as students who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals (FRPM), English learners (EL), and/or who are foster youth, and unhoused. This is a designation provided by the CA Department of Education and OUSD (NOT by EBAC).
    2. Returning students who were enrolled in 25-26
    3. Siblings of returning students
    4. Previously waitlisted students in 25-26
    5. Class grouping and daily enrollment balance
    6. Open lottery

Payment Information

EBAC uses Procare to manage our program fees. With Procare, families will receive invoices and will be able to pay their invoices using their credit cards or through their bank accounts. Families will be able to manage their personal accounts and print out receipts and tax letters at any time. Once enrolled in P.E.A.C.E. program you will receive information on how to set up and navigate the Procare portal. If you would like to pay with a check, you can still do this by handing it to the Program Coordinator, Sherice Tyler. We will manually enter that you have paid in our Procare system. If you decide not to pay through Procare, you will still receive an invoice from Procare and will be able to log in and get a receipt from your Procare account.
